Jamari Maurice "Mari" Montgomery, born on June 18, 2007, was a freshman at Hartsville High School in Hartsville, South Carolina. He played as a defensive end on the junior varsity football team and had a passion for mechanics, often spending time dismantling and reassembling dirt bikes and go-karts. Jamari accepted Christ at an early age and attended Christ Cathedral Church under the leadership of Reverend Christopher Morgan. He was affectionately known as "Mari" to his family and friends.
