On a cold winter day in Wichita, Kansas, the body of 27-year-old Candace Thomas, a female, was discovered, leaving behind a mystery that has endured for decades. It was January 14, 1990, when she was found unconscious along the canal route at I-135 and 1st Street. Emergency services responded to the scene, but her injuries were too severe. Thomas had sustained significant head and internal injuries, and authorities believe she was either pushed or fell from a moving vehicle.
