On the morning of September 5, 2014, a tragic double homicide occurred in the West End neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. James Dent, a 34-year-old male, was found dead on a sidewalk along the 1200 block of Goodfellow Boulevard. He had sustained fatal gunshot wounds to his upper torso. Just a short distance away, near the intersection of Julian Avenue, his younger brother, 25-year-old Steven Dent, was also discovered deceased from similar injuries.
