Nicholas Hunter, aged 30, died on January 15, 2015, in Foristell, Missouri. His death was the result of a shooting incident involving his wife, Ashley Hunter. According to Ashley's testimony, the fatal confrontation occurred after Nicholas allegedly attacked her. She claimed that Nicholas had been physically, mentally, and sexually abusive throughout their relationship.
