In the early evening of a Thursday in St. Louis, a disagreement between two men escalated into a fatal encounter on a front porch in the 5000 block of Queens. On that day, April 2, 2015, 42-year-old Clifford Williams was shot multiple times in his abdomen, bicep, and thigh. The man police identified as the shooter was 29-year-old Paul Edward Clayton.
