In the early morning hours of September 1, 2015, the life of 19-year-old DeAngelo A. Porchia was tragically cut short in Kansas City, Missouri. Responding to reports of a shooting shortly before 2 a.m., police arrived at a residence in the 5200 block of St. John Avenue, across the street from Budd Park. There, on the front porch, they found the young man suffering from gunshot wounds.
