Royce Jeffries, a former Oklahoma State University basketball player, tragically lost his life on September 20, 2015, in Kansas City, Missouri. Jeffries, who was 46 years old at the time, was working as a bouncer at Bob’s Bar and Grill when a fight broke out around 12:30 a.m. As he attempted to manage the situation and escort people out of the bar, someone opened fire, shooting Jeffries three times in the back.
