Emmitt Dawson, a 24-year-old resident of Saint Louis, Missouri, tragically lost his life on July 8, 2016. Dawson was fatally shot in the 8200 block of South Broadway in what authorities determined to be a failed robbery attempt. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, and Dawson was pronounced dead at the scene after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.
