On July 8, 2016, the body of 24-year-old Emmitt Dawson was discovered lifeless in a field in St. Louis, Missouri. Police officers had responded to a call reporting a shooting in the area, leading them to the scene where they found the young male victim. An examination revealed that he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the location.
