Mac Payne, a 57-year-old resident of Saint Louis, Missouri, tragically lost his life on March 19, 2017. Payne was shot and killed at the Busch Stadium MetroLink station. According to reports, he was struck by a stray bullet during an altercation on a MetroLink train. The incident occurred when a group of individuals attempted to rob passengers on the train, leading to a struggle during which a gun was fired. Payne, who was exiting the train at the time, was hit in the head by the stray bullet.
