Death by Force

On December 29, 2022, 16-year-old Jaylen Miles was found fatally shot in the backyard of a vacant home in the Glasgow Village area of north St. Louis County, Missouri. The tragic discovery was made by officers from the North County Precinct who responded to a call for help around 3:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Jaylen suffering from at least one gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. This incident occurred just a few blocks from his home on Spring Garden Drive.
