In the summer of 2002, a sense of unease settled over the small town of Carthage, Indiana, following the mysterious disappearance of 46-year-old Nancy Lyons, a Caucasian female. On the evening of June 17, Nancy vanished after a routine shopping trip to a local Walmart in nearby Rushville to pick up groceries and medication.
