In the heat of a St. Louis summer evening, a family was irrevocably shattered by a moment of tragedy. On Sunday, July 23, 2017, inside their home in the Clinton Peabody Housing Complex, 10-year-old Anthony Turner Jr. was fatally wounded. The spirited and loving boy, known as an 'A' student and a Junior Deacon at his church, was found unconscious with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
