In the early morning hours of April 24, 2018, Kamorra Sneed, a 41-year-old female, was shot and killed in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. in the 4200 block of North Grand Boulevard, at the corner of Grand and Penrose. Police responded to a report of shots fired and found Sneed with a gunshot wound to her chest. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
According to her family, Sneed was standing on a corner talking to a man she had
just met that morning when she was shot. Her sister stated that the shooting happened after a verbal dispute with a man who then returned with a gun. At the time of her death, Sneed was living with a friend in St. Louis.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the case as a homicide. To date, the case is listed as an open homicide, and there have been no public announcements regarding any arrests or the identification of any suspects. Kamorra Sneed's family has publicly appealed for the person responsible to come forward. She was a mother of six children.
