Ira Brown, a 33-year-old man, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of July 16, 2018, during an armed robbery at the Inner City Oil gas station on Swope Parkway in Kansas City, Missouri, where he was employed. The incident was the last in a string of armed robberies that had been terrorizing the community.
