In the early morning hours of Monday, September 24, 2018, the quiet of a north St. Louis neighborhood was broken by a grim discovery. Inside a vehicle parked in the 700 block of North Euclid Avenue, police found the bodies of a man and a woman, both of whom had been fatally shot. The victims were later identified as 40-year-old Anthony McMillan and 38-year-old Kristal Byrd.
