Sarah Simms, a 46-year-old resident of Independence, Missouri, passed away on November 18, 2018. Her death was the result of a fatal shooting that occurred at her home. The incident was particularly tragic as Simms was a key cooperating witness in a 2017 murder case involving the death of Phillip Anderson.
