In the winter of 2018, tragedy struck in St. Louis, Missouri, when Melvin Whitted Jr., a 55-year-old man, was found deceased inside a car. The discovery was made on December 21st in the 6800 block of Berkridge, where police responded to a call and found Mr. Whitted had been fatally shot. The incident was quickly determined to be a homicide, prompting an investigation by the St. Louis County Police Department.
