On April 11, 2023, 33-year-old Patrik’ James was fatally shot in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred around 5 p.m. in the 2800 block of Gamble Street, located in the city's Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood. Officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, who were patrolling nearby, responded promptly after hearing multiple gunshots. Upon arrival, they found James lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
