On the evening of Monday, May 13, 2019, a violent incident occurred in Kansas City, Missouri, resulting in the death of 28-year-old Damon Copes. Police officers were dispatched to the area near 24th Street and Quincy Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival at the scene, which was located outside a church, authorities discovered the male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
