On the early morning of June 23, 2024, a chaotic sequence of events unfolded in the heart of downtown St. Louis, Missouri, leading to the untimely death of Larry Lewis III. The 26-year-old Black male from Florissant was amongst a crowd gathering near 10th and Market streets, an area adjacent to the Citygarden sculpture park.
