In the early morning hours of October 25, 2022, the life of James C. Riley III was tragically cut short in the Vandeventer neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. The 27-year-old man was discovered lying in the 1100 block of North Sarah Street, just north of Finney Avenue, suffering from fatal puncture wounds.
Emergency responders were called to the scene around 7 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they found Riley unresponsive in the middle of the street.
Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The St. Louis police are actively investigating the case, which has been classified as a homicide. As of now, authorities have not publicly identified any suspects or made any arrests in connection with the shooting death of James C. Riley III.
