In the summer of 2019, tragedy struck a quiet apartment complex in north St. Louis County, leaving a community in shock and a family grappling with a devastating loss. Ronald Brewster Jr., a 40-year-old male, was one of five men whose lives were abruptly ended on July 6th in what authorities would later describe as a targeted act of violence. The discovery was made after a concerned family member, unable to reach one of the victims, requested a welfare check at the apartment building.
