In the early morning hours of September 22, 2019, the life of 44-year-old Carrell Wright was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The incident unfolded around 3:40 a.m. in the 5300 block of Wabada Avenue, a residential street in St. Louis, Missouri, where Wright himself resided. Responding to a call of shots fired, police officers arrived to a grim scene, discovering Wright and a 33-year-old woman, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical services were unable to save
