In the early morning hours of February 3, 2020, officers from the Joplin Police Department in Missouri rushed to a residence on South Roosevelt Avenue after receiving a distress call regarding a burglary in progress with shots fired. Inside the home, emergency responders discovered a chaotic scene where two individuals had sustained gunshot wounds.
