Nikolas Lampton, a 21-year-old from Independence, Missouri, tragically lost his life on April 3, 2020. The incident occurred outside the Sterling 24 Apartments on Sundown Drive. According to reports, Lampton was involved in a transaction to exchange marijuana and $400 for an assault rifle and a pistol. During this exchange, he was shot multiple times by Jason A. Belshe Jr., an 18-year-old from Independence.
