Imer Eliu Alvarado, age 34, was shot and killed on May 17, 2017, in Fresno, California. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning in a neighborhood near Fourth Street and Belmont Avenue. Alvarado, who was a member of the LGBTQ+ community, was reportedly dressed in women's clothing at the time of the shooting, which occurred several blocks away from Alibi, a local gay bar.
