In the early morning hours of June 27, 2020, a violent home invasion shattered the peace of a residence in the 800 block of West Street in Mexico, Missouri. Intruders forcibly entered the home where 25-year-old Chance Davis lived with his family. During the break-in, the assailants fired a single shot, striking the male victim.
