Daina M. Smith, aged 52, tragically lost her life on July 26, 2020, in Independence, Missouri. The incident occurred late in the evening when officers were called to a residence near 36th Street and South Greenwich Lane at approximately 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Daina Smith deceased inside the home with a gunshot wound to the head.
