On the evening of Tuesday, October 13, 2020, law enforcement officials in Carthage, Missouri, were alerted to a violent disturbance in a residential area. Shortly before 9:00 p.m., the Carthage Police Department received emergency calls reporting the sound of gunshots echoing through the 100 block of North Garrison Avenue. Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene to investigate the source of the gunfire and assess any potential threats to the neighborhood.
