In the quiet Carondelet neighborhood of south St. Louis, the evening of January 22, 2021, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Around 11 p.m., officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the 5200 block of Tennessee Avenue following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a man inside a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
