On a tragic evening in Indianapolis, a young man's life was cut short in a burst of violence that left a community reeling and a family searching for answers. Twenty-five-year-old Michael D. Baker was killed on March 5, 2013, in a shooting that also injured three other men. The incident unfolded at the Wellington Village Apartments on the city's east side, where Baker and his friends, Markell Kelly, DeJour Martin, and Christian Smith, all 19 years old, were gathered.
