In the summer of 2019, a 27-year-old woman named Heather McAlister vanished from a rural highway in Washington state, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions. On July 3rd, the day she was last seen, Heather was reportedly experiencing a mental health crisis. She had left a home in Goldendale, Washington, and was attempting to hitchhike back to her own residence in The Dalles, Oregon.
