William "Bill" Atkin Posey, a 24-year-old from Anchorage, Alaska, has been missing since August 15, 1985. He is presumed to have died when the fishing vessel he was working on, the F/V Western Sea, sank. The 58-foot wooden seine boat, built in 1915, went down in Marmot Bay, situated between Kodiak and Afognak islands.
