Jamie Manuel Rogerio, 34, was a crew member on the fishing vessel Uyak II, which sank on November 5, 1987. The vessel, a 115-foot-long fishing boat, capsized and sank in the Gulf of Alaska, approximately 60 nautical miles south of Kodiak, Alaska, around 9:00 PM. At the time of the incident, the Uyak II was located about 20 miles south of Sitkalidak Island. Rogerio, along with three other crew members, went missing following the sinking and are now presumed to be deceased.
