Thomas James Houghland, a 5-year-old boy, went missing on July 11, 1978, in Sacramento, California. He was last seen with his mother, Norma Louise Houghland, and his older brother, Richard, during an evening drive. The family had reportedly left a relative's home around 8:00 PM, and they never returned.
