Stanton Shelton went missing approximately 10 miles down river from Alakanuk on the Yukon River. He was traveling with three others from Emmonak toward their home village in a 18-foot Lund skiff when the boat sank. Of those on board, one survived, two died and Shelton was never located. He is presumed deceased.
