Bob Parker Fasig, a 72-year-old man from Ventura, California, was last seen on May 8, 1993. At the time of his disappearance, Fasig was living at the Mound Guest Home, a care facility for people with Alzheimer’s Disease. He had only been at the facility for less than ten days but had already wandered away twice before being safely returned by staff.
On the morning of May 8, Fasig disappeared once again, and despite an extensive search that included distributing flyers and checking local areas, no trace of him was ever found.
Fasig was last seen wearing a navy blue cardigan sweater, a brown plaid shirt, blue jeans, and navy-colored slip-on shoes. He was carrying keys with military dog tags and wearing a Medic Alert tag due to his Alzheimer’s condition, which left him dependent and inarticulate.
