In the late summer of 2019, a 52-year-old man named Juan Pedro Sierra vanished while traveling through Oregon. His family last had contact with him in mid-August as he was making his way to Washington State. Sierra, who was of Hispanic descent with reddish-brown hair and a mustache, lived a transient lifestyle and was known to travel by freight train.
