In the quiet evening hours of December 6, 2010, in Eugene, Oregon, 53-year-old Robert Steven Dow stepped out of his home for a simple, routine act. Around 6:30 p.m., he told his family he was going outside to have a cigarette before heading to bed. This was the last time he was ever seen.
