Mariano Medina Funes, age 36, was last seen on December 31, 2019, in Jacinto City, Texas. He left with two men he knew and was possibly heading to Pasadena, Texas. Mariano had plans to meet his sister at a church later that evening to celebrate New Year's, but he never arrived. His girlfriend later received a distressing call from him at 8:20 p.m., during which Mariano screamed that he was in danger and that the men he was with were going to kill him.
