In the days leading up to her disappearance, she purchased camping equipment and made a reservation at the Weasku Inn in Grants Pass, a reservation she would never
claim. Her last contact with her family was on July 1. She had mentioned to her father that she had given a ride to a hitchhiker, a person who was later questioned by police and cleared as a suspect.
