The day after leaving his Tennessee home, on November 19, 2020, Andre was seen in Crawfordsville, Indiana, a considerable distance from where his journey began. His behavior was unusual enough to cause a citizen to contact the police for a welfare check after observing him playing in the roadway. When officers arrived, they spoke with Andre. It was noted that he might appear confused or disoriented, possibly as a result of a head injury sustained in the earlier altercation. At the time of his disappearance, he had a noticeable gash on his forehead. After his interaction with the police, Andre was last seen walking toward the McClure truck stop in Crawfordsville. It is believed he may have been attempting to get rides from truckers.
