Frank, also known by the nickname "Joey," was hitchhiking and couch-surfing across the country, attending various music festivals. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Frank had been traveling without any official identification or significant belongings. He last communicated with his mother via a letter in June 2009, telling her he had arrived in Bloomington and would check in with her soon.
Frank was staying with a friend in Bloomington, but after a reported argument, he left on foot. He intended to travel to music festivals in Tennessee and West Virginia, but he never arrived at either location. Despite no concrete evidence of foul play, his long absence was out of character, as he would usually stay in touch with his family during his travels. His disappearance remains unsolved, and his family continues to hope for answers.
