Gail Florine Butler, age 50, was last seen on April 12, 1997, in Washington, D.C. She was known to frequently travel between Greenbelt, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. At the time of her disappearance, Butler was described as a Black female with a light complexion, standing 5'1" and weighing 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She also had a large burn on her chest, which is a distinctive identifying feature.
