Muna Mahamud Haji, a 25-year-old woman, disappeared on October 3, 2003, while on a boat trip at Lake Travis near Austin, Texas. She and a companion, Robert Canuelle, rented a boat from the VIP Marina that day. Approximately one hour after their rental, the boat was found adrift and unoccupied in the Cottonwood Cove area. Both individuals' personal belongings, including their truck, were accounted for at the marina, but neither of their bodies were recovered.
