At the time, he and some relatives had been staying at the adjacent Econo Lodge. The family member went into the gas station to make a purchase, and when they came back out, Damian was nowhere to be found. After several days of searching for him without success, his family reported him missing on December 6, 2019.
At the time of his disappearance, Damian was 34 years old, described as a Black male, standing between 5'9' and 6'0' tall and weighing between 190 and 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. His family has expressed their deep concern and desperation for answers, stating that it is highly uncharacteristic of him to be out of contact for so long. His aunt, Phyllis Moody, has voiced her fears that something terrible may have happened to him, emphasizing their close relationship and the unlikelihood of him voluntarily disappearing without a word.
The East Point Police Department is investigating Damian's disappearance. Authorities have indicated that they have a suspect in his case but have not publicly released the individual's identity. The area where he was last seen is described as highly populated, leading his family to believe that someone must have seen something that could help locate him.
