In the late afternoon of April 29, 2026, 20-year-old Derek Samuel was at a Target store in the Camp Creek Marketplace in East Point, Georgia, with two friends. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants. Surveillance footage captured him leaving the store and walking alone along the backside of the shopping center, seemingly without any signs of distress.
