April Leann Johnson, 37, was last seen on January 14, 2020, in Waynesboro, Mississippi. On that day, she was arrested and later released from custody. Her last known contact with her family occurred in December 2019, when she spoke with her 13-year-old daughter. Following her release from jail, Johnson vanished without a trace. Her family filed a missing person report in July 2020 with the Jackson, Alabama, Police Department, where she was officially reported missing.
