Alexander Michael Kruck, known to friends and family as Alex, has been missing since early August 2020. At the time of his disappearance, Alex was 33 years old and a lifelong resident of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was deeply connected to his community, known for his dependable habits and strong relationships with his loved ones. In the days before he vanished, Alex was living in Milwaukee and maintaining consistent contact with both family and friends — making his sudden and complete
disappearance particularly distressing to those who knew him.
The last confirmed sighting of Alex occurred at Palmeros Manufacturing Warehouse, located at 3301 W Canal Street, where he reportedly arrived via shuttle from 2217 S 1st Street. This was a routine part of his daily activity, and no indications of distress or deviation from his norm were observed at that time. On August 6, 2020, a phone call was made from Alex’s phone to his grandmother. However, because she suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, she was unfortunately unable to confirm the nature of the call or whether it was in fact Alex on the line.
Adding to the mystery, letters dated August 7, 2020, were found near 40th Street and North Avenue, although it remains uncertain whether Alex wrote them. Complicating matters further, a financial check and card with an unused balance arrived in the mail after he went missing — suggesting he had not accessed or used the funds, and strengthening concerns that something had gone terribly wrong.
Alex's disappearance is profoundly out of character. He was in daily contact with friends and family, and not someone who would typically leave town or fall out of touch. He was not known to travel and remained on Milwaukee’s north and south sides, where he felt most comfortable. The lack of phone calls, sightings, or financial activity since early August 2020 has only deepened the concern of those closest to him.
As of today, no credible leads have surfaced and no trace of Alex has been found. His case remains open and under investigation by the Milwaukee Police Department. His loved ones continue to seek answers, and the community is urged to come forward with any information, no matter how small, that might help solve the case.
