Emily Strite, a 33-year-old woman from DeSoto, Missouri, was last seen on April 12, 2024. Her mother reported her missing on April 20, 2024. Strite was staying with a friend in DeSoto before her disappearance. She had told her mother that she was going to visit her children, who live with their father in Cahokia, Illinois. However, her father called her mother a week later, saying he hadn't heard from Strite.
